wow it's been a while since i last wrote.  I have been to iowa and back since the last time.  It was a great trip.  We got to spend lots of time seeing Ashley's family and hanging out.  I also got to see some other people which was great but there is never enough time to see everyone.  It was so great to reconnect with those we got to see.  Hung out with Phil and Natalie, played some cards and Phil and I won.  It was good days.  Its fun to hear about all the changes in their lives and how they are dealing with them.  In some ways we are in the same place of life.  Also got to have dinner with the Sanford's.  Always a treat.  You never know what the topic of conversation will be.  Had an Airsoft war with Adam, matt, and brandon.  It was fun and i got to use my new guns.  I shot brandon in the eye and matt in the lip and adam was on my team.  Morgan creek was a great place to play.  Finally got to see Pirates 2 and also went to see Night at the Museum which was a great movie.  But now we are back in OK to finish off 2006 and gearing up for 07.

Also i got 2 more James bond movies so i only have 3 more to finish the collection.  Looking forward to finishing it soon.  I hope you all had a pleasent Christmas and have a super new year.  Let me know if you make any new years resolutions.  I'll post mine next time.

Snow day

Wednesday night brought freezing rain which quickly turned into snow thursday which lasted all day long.  By friday morning we had about a foot of snow on top of ice.  And living in OK they don't have but 6 plows for the whole city so roads are still back today.  Youth group was canceled wednesday, we only worked a half day thurday and church was cancelled on sunday.  So i have had a lazy relaxing last few days which have been nice.  Friday Ashley and I and the boys when to some kids from youth group house to go sledding, OK style.  We sat on a old hood from a truck that we tide to a truck.  They drove us all around the pasture.  It was sweet, we were going close to 20 mph and snow was everywhere.  There were some little jumps that they pulled us over.  It was a great time.

Saturday we had some kids from youth group over.  We played battle of the sexes and the boys won.  We also watched football and decorated cookies and ordered some pizza.  Sunday since there was no church we slept in.  In the afternoons some kids came over for a Bondathon.  We watch 2 James bond movies and played James Bond Scene it.  It was so much fun.

Today its back to work but it was a great weekend.  I really miss having people stop by and hang out at the house.  It's always fun having people over and chatting.  We are trying to created that mindset here as we had it in IA.  Hope you all have a great day today.

Saw it thanksgiving day.

Daniel Craig- played a good bond

Movie- Poker game was fun but the love story with the girl got in the way.  It was way to drawn out.  I found myself hoping that she would die half way through the movie.  It started out great but just finished really poorly.

Thanksgiving visit was good but too short.  Just had time to visit with Ashley's family.  IT was a good visit.  I think i bonded with Ashley's dad a bit.  It's so hard to get into the mix of the family because i'm the outsider.  This was our first thanksgiving because last year we were on our honeymoon.  I met Ashley's mom side of the family thanksgiving day and it was werid because it was really the first time i hung out with them.  It was like i was hanging out with strangers.  It wasn't bad but there wasn't any history.
